17 Months and growing...

It's so hard to believe that the girls were 17 months old this month! Time is flying, and it needs to slow down! I forgot to post about their 16 month check-up! It went well, and they took their shots well. They screamed until they got a sucker, and then they were fine! Poor Eva Marie had to get her blood drawn to run some tests on her, and they took her blood like they take ours. It was so pitiful. They put a tourniquet around her arm, and put a butterfly needle in it. Then they couldn't find her vein, but Eva Marie took it like a champ....and once she got ANOTHER sucker, she was fine. I felt so sorry for her though. Test results came back normal; so that is good news.

Eva Marie weighed 23 pounds and some change, and Ella Kate weighed 25 pounds and some change...I don't have the exact amounts with me, it's written on a sheet at home. They both were 32 inches long. They talk all the time, and you can get them to say just about anything. It's funny because they will look at you, try to have a conversation with you, even though, you have NO idea what they are saying. They both can climb on our cough; which I'm not sure is a good thing or bad thing?? It is probably going to get them in trouble one day, but for now, it's funny to watch them. They love to give each other hugs and kisses; I am so thankful they love each other.

Valentine's Morning...Ella Kate felt horrible and was so sick. That afternoon she started running a 102.7 fever and wouldn't eat anything...you can tell she doesn't feel good at all.
