Time flies when you're having fun!

I cannot believe that we are halfway through January, and I have not posted anything since before Christmas! Time is flying, and I wish it would slow down. The girls are growing too fast. This Christmas was so much fun for us, and the girls had a great time. The holidays are busy for us, but we love the time we get to spend with family. Jerry and I decided to start some traditions with the girls this year: The obvious making cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve, and then going to look at the Lewis Christmas Lights in Purvis, MS. If you are not familiar with this, the Lewis family in Purvis basically take their yard, and cover it in lights. They also have wooden cartoon characters throughout. They have trails you can walk through and read the Story of Baby Jesus, and the Night Before Christmas. It's really neat! The girls had a great time, and they throughly enjoyed their presents from Santa! They have grown up so much in the past few months. It's amazing the things they can do and say now! They can just about crawl up on our couch, they are running all over the place, and they can say a variety of things such as: mama, dada, dog, hey, bye-bye, shoes, juice, please, and NO. They also love to do the hand motions to "If You're Happy and You Know It." They are so sweet, and we cherish each day with them! See below a variety of pictures from the past couple of months and a video.

When Hunter comes in the house, this is where he is positioned to catch all of the leftovers!

Eva Marie and Ella Kate's Christmas Tree!

Ella Kate loves to give open mouth kisses!

All bundled up to look at the Lewis Lights!

We stopped to take a picture with the 7 dwarfs!

Mommy with the girls and 7 dwarfs!

Eva Marie didn't want to look at the camera

I thought this was so cool, a tree that was hollowed out in the middle, and they put little figurines in it to look like they were climbing up in the tree!

Daddy with his girls. Ella Kate's hat kept falling over her eyes!

Family Photo! A couple there was kind enough to take a picture for us.

Making cookies for Santa. Yes, they are the pre-made dough, but next year will be homemade!

Looks like the same picture, but it's not!

Cookies all ready for Santa in front of their pictures with him. This will be another tradition, but more so for me...each picture with Santa will be framed and on a table at Christmas. I love to look at the year before and see how much they have grown!

Can you tell Santa has been here?

He left presents too!

Still needing to wake up...

Ready to go now!

Having fun in the ball pit!

love this picture
And this one too...
