Six months ago today, Jerry and I became the proud parents of Eva Marie and Ella Katherine DeFatta! They are our little miracle babies, and we love them more than anything! They are so precious to us, and we love spending every moment we can with them.
Eva Marie, you currently weigh 15 lbs and 10 oz. You were 5 lbs 13 oz when you were born. You love to play on the floor, however, usually after your supper, you want to be held. If we try to put you down, you scream! I will admit, in the past week though, you have gotten better about not screaming as badly. You are mommy and daddy's cuddle bunny. You love to snuggle with us; especially on the weekends! You are enjoying being on your stomach more and more each day. You have recently started to babble more; it's so sweet hearing you. You love to smile at your sister! You are teething, and you chew on your fingers constantly. You are very observant. You smile so much, and when you do, you have the most adorable dimples I have ever seen. You are ticklish on your back and feet. You have rolled over from your stomach to your back a few times, and you are still mastering rolling from your back to your stomach. You are so close! You have sat up a couple of times, and you are still gaining your balance. You love your monogrammed frog at naptime, and when you sleep, you love to get in the corner of your bed with your face up next to the bumper pad. When you feel like it, you can hold your own bottle! You have begun to eat baby food, and so far you love cereal, carrots, squash, and sweet potatoes, but you do not like sweet peas! Also, you love apple juice, pear juice, and applesauce; however, you are not a fan of bananas! You recently tried ice cream and cake icing...and you loved them!

Ella Kate, you currently weigh 17 lbs and 1 oz. When you were born, you were 5 lbs and 4 oz. You were smaller than your sister, but you have passed her! You love to play on the floor and in your jumper. At times, you like to be held, however, you usually want to be moving or doing something! You like to cuddle, but only when yo are extremely sleepy. You love to hear yourself talk. You babble all the time, and it is so sweet. Sometimes, you will scream really loudly, not because you are mad or upset; just because you feel like screaming! You love to smile; especially when we bounce you up and down. You have the most adorable laugh. You like to talk to your sister; even though she doesn't talk back to you. You are ticklish around your neck, your feet, and on your back! You are not a fan of being on your stomach. You don't mind it at first, but then you throw your arms out and bury your head. You have rolled from your back to your stomach once, and you are still trying to roll from your stomach to your back. You have sat up a good bit, and you are getting stronger every day! You have recently discovered your feet, and you love to play with them. You love to sleep with your monogrammed frog at naptime, and when you sleep, you pull the blanket right up to your nose, and your arms spread out on both sides. You can hold your bottle on your own, but you like to play with it! You have begun to eat baby food, you love cereal, squash, and sweet potatoes. You somewhat like the sweet peas, but you think they are bland. You do not like carrots, and you like to spit them at us! You love apple juice and pear juice. You also love applesauce, but you do not like bananas. You recently tried ice cream and cake icing...you loved them both!
